Melaka River Walk

The Malacca River Walk (Melaka River Walk) is a path on both sides of the Malacca River (Sungai Melaka) in the historic centre of Melaka city in West Malaysia. Melaka River Walk is started from Hard Rock Café at Jalan Hang Jebat to Jalan Kampung Pantai along the Malacca River, about 300 meters. The River Walk is filled with cafes, shops, and river cruise shops. There are also murals on some of the historical homes lining the river. The Malacca River Walk is very happening in the early evening because there are many bars, cafes and restaurants lining the river that are operated in the evening until midnight.

We encourage visitors to come to the Melaka River Walk at night to enjoy a cup of beer at the cafes beside the Melaka River Walk. For the Muslim, you can have your dinner at Dutch Harbour Café, and this cafe is a halal western and Malay food restaurant. The following is the cafes at the Melaka River Walk.
